ORIGIN STORIES (2025)
The BELONGING one. This album reaches into the quiet, formative places where identity takes shape. The songs explore where we come from, how we lose and find ourselves, and how we re-write the stories we’ve inherited. Origin Stories reflects on belonging, and beginnings in many forms, from adoption to reinvention to the moments that ask us to start again. It’s both personal and rooted in universal human experiences we all share. If you have ever stepped into a new chapter, healed an old wound, or found the courage to start over, these songs about beginnings and belonging will feel like they’re written for you.
CRUCIBLE (2024)
The MAGICK one. There’s some supernatural electricity in this collection! Charged with elemental energy and creative fire, Crucible leans into myth, intuition, and ancient voices that speak through us when we are brave enough to listen. Inspired in part by Sharon Blackie’s book Hagitude, these songs explore the process of channeling creativity, transformation, wildness, and the alchemy of becoming. I shared the album with Sharon when it was released, and she replied (what a thrill!) that she “loved both ‘Oracle’ and ‘Soul’s Dark Night’ especially”, which makes the creative lineage of this record all the more meaningful.
FATHOM (2023)
The COACHING one. Leslie’s seventh original album is about depth: emotional depth, human depth, and the inner landscapes we enter when we take ourselves seriously enough to grow. Fathom features a collection of introspective, enlightening, and inspiring songs that invite listeners toward reflection, grounded truth, and the courage it takes to look inward. The album is dedicated to coaches who show up with full hearts and deep skills for their clients. The coaching-inspired songs take listeners deeper into self-awareness and personal growth through music, and can be used by coaches as practices for their clients’ coaching programs.
HELLFIRE PUSSYCAT (2022)
The FUN one. Playful, irreverent, bold, and energetic, this album is pure electricity, mischievous, and impossible to sit still through. With flavours of rock, funk, dance, and big-band swagger, these songs let you explore your bold, playful, unapologetic self. Hellfire Pussycat is full of swagger, attitude, and joy, designed to move your body, spark your fire, and remind you that liberation can sound like a groove.
ANTHEMONIUM (2020)
The CIRCUS one. This album is theatrical, orchestral, and delightfully chaotic, living up to its invented title (anthem + pandemonium). This is a fierce, dramatic collection of rock, R&B, and funk, full of soaring vocals, rich metaphors, and bold musical arrangements. Songs like “Trapeze”, “In My Own Shoes”, and “Dear Me” blur the line between coaching and art, drawing inspiration from practices designed to build self-awareness. With a bombastic, circus feel, Anthemonium is one of Leslie’s most vibrant sonic worlds.
THROUGH THE DARK NIGHT (2019)
The DARK one. Leslie’s fourth album is insightful, lyrically deep, and the result of Leslie’s exploration of mental health through music. Through the Dark Night explores the emotional territory of fear, depression, resilience, and the inner critic, capturing the experience of moving through shadow toward something more grounded and true. It is a rock record with grit, heart, and power. The title refers to the spiritual and psychological reckoning that can lead us to profound transformation.
QUALIA (2016)
The FANTASY one. With its sensory-rich lyrics and imaginative soundscapes, Qualia steps into the vivid world of perception and experience. These songs blend rock, country, R&B, funk, hip hop, and pop into a lush, adventurous sound. It invites listeners into a world of direct, colourful experience. ‘Qualia’ means the subjective, qualitative elements of our conscious experiences. For example, you can’t read about how a rose smells and know it; you must experience its scent directly. This album is about our senses-rich experience of the world around us.
DOWN FROM THE ETHER (2014)
The SPIRITUAL one. Edgy, inspired, and creatively charged, Down From the Ether explores what it means to stay open to the creative source that lives just beyond reach. It blends rock with atmospheric elements, bold vocals, intricate guitars, and thought-provoking lyrics. The title was inspired by the creative conduit. Leslie has said that “Creativity lives in the ether somewhere, and if I stay open to receive her magic, the songs download into me. That’s why I say that the music comes ‘through’ me, not ‘from’ me.”
SISTER SEVEN (2012)
The FIRST one. Released in November 2012, with original songs in the rock genre with flavours of adult contemporary, country, and funk. The songs on this debut album are hopeful, introspective, and provocative, and explore empowerment, adoption, bullying, inner critic, and the art of the possible. As an adopted person, Leslie reunited with her birth parents and siblings, to become one of seven siblings in the world, inspiring the title, Sister Seven. Leslie is also an enneagram type seven.
