Leslie Rohonczy is a Canadian Composer, Recording Artist, and Vocal & Performance Coach, with professional experience in a wide range of musical styles. In 2012, Leslie released debut album "Sister Seven", a varied collection of original songs recorded at SoundCreation Studio on Ottawa Canada, with guitarist/producer and musical partner Scott Walsh. In October 2014, Leslie released her second album, "Down From the Ether", also recorded with Walsh, and the two formed the LESLIE ROHONCZY BAND, with bandmates Dave Fraser (bass), Al Wilmore (keys), and Chris Houle (drums). In 2016, Leslie’s third album “Qualia” was released, and the most recent album “Through the Dark Night” was released in July 2019.

Leslie brings her passion for songwriting and powerful alto vocals to the stage with depth and range, and her performance goal is simple: to engage the audience, and tell compelling stories through songs that really connect with the audience.

Leslie has performed many musical genres: Rock, Blues, Swing, R&B, Pop, Roots, and Jazz. She currently fronts popular Ottawa groups 'LESLIE ROHONCZY Band' and 'THREE TIMES LUCKY'. In the '80's, Leslie was a fronting member of popular bands "8 To The Bar!" and "Girls Like Us", and performed during the '90s and early '00s with "The Runes" and "Moondogs".

Leslie has twelve years of Royal Conservatory training in piano and music theory, plays soprano, alto and tenor saxophones, flute, ukulele, and a myriad of percussion instruments. Leslie is a Certified Integral Master Coach™ specializing in performance & Vocal Coaching.
